02

We Review It

We'll review your submission and let you know if your dress is a good fit for our curated collection. We look for quality, condition, and alignment with our brand.

03

We Collect It

Once approved, we'll arrange collection of the dress from you — at no cost. We take care of photography, listing, and all the logistics.

04

You Earn

Each time your dress is rented, you'll pocket 60% of the daily rent. We handle everything — from booking to dry cleaning to returns.

What else to note

Can I wear my own dress when it's with you?

You can block off any dates you know you'll need the dress — just message us. We'll keep you updated whenever it's been rented, and you can pick it up with a week's notice as long as it's not already booked.

Will you collect my dress before bookings come through?

Whatever you prefer. You can keep the dress at home until the first booking comes in.

What happens if my dress gets damaged?

Damages are not common. If it does happen, we charge the renter. Any specialist dry cleaning or repair beyond normal wear will be charged accordingly and we will take care of the repair. In the event of irreparable damage or loss, the full original purchase price applies — we'll let you know immediately and send the amount through to you.

How much will I earn?

You'll earn 60% of the daily rent. The £15 dry cleaning fee and £5 delivery fee are paid by the renter on top of the daily rent, and don't come out of your earnings — we take care of dry cleaning after every return, and shipping is via DPD UK-wide with full tracking.

How much will my dress rent at?

Rentals are priced at 5% of the retail price per night. So for example, a dress worth £300 would rent for £15 a night, or £60 for 4 nights (Thursday to Monday). You would earn 60% of that — £36.

When will I get paid?

We'll send payment to you on the first day of the rental. The renter pays in advance, and can cancel up to 5 days before the booking — within that 5-day window, cancellations are non-refundable. Payment goes to the bank details you provide in the application form.

What happens if my dress never gets booked?

You can request to get it back at any time — La Robe will cover the delivery cost.

Do I have to give it to you for a minimum amount of time?

No, there's no minimum.

Will I get visibility into when my dress is being rented?

While we don't have a live tracking system, we'll send you an email every time a booking comes through, with the number of nights and amount owed.
